I'm a 5th grader at Hawthorne Elementary in Hastings, Nebraska, USA. As a student council member I collect school supplies for the kids at school that can't afford to purchase supplies. I created "Melodee Cares" platform when Covid-19 put restrictions on kids volunteering. Working towards 200 gift bags for kids in crisis, single moms in recovery and senior citizens receiving "Meals on Wheels" has been my passion. I'm the reigning Preteen Nation of States USA 2021-22. I also volunteer at Meals On Wheels, Kids Against Hunger, Start Over Rover, and Ministry In Motion. Through Pageantry I have won numerous modeling, runway and photogenic awards.

I want to encourage kids to kindness and acts of goodness. There are so many hurting people in the world that by one simple gift bag of love, people can be uplifted and know they are thought of. Giving is a true inner beauty.

We are the next generation to make a difference and be the difference. Through our generosity and kindness we could change the world! Photography paints a picture of the inner soul and I want encourage kids to use their gifts to make a difference .
