Meet the first-ever transgender model to sign a contract with the biggest modeling agency in the world: IMG Models.
She recently appeared in the new Gucci scent campaign, Gucci Bloom, alongside Dakota Johnson and Petra Collins. She walked in Gucci’s men's runway show at the Fall/Winter 2016 show as a woman. In an interview with the Gucci Group, Nef was asked about how people will see trans people in 20 years, she responded by saying: “My hope is that in 20 years we’re not even saying these words anymore. My hope is that people who identify along the lines of gender that might not necessarily align with how they’re born, hopefully in 20 years' time there won’t be genders aligned with how you’re born, there will just be choice.”
